I listen to music on my commute and at work at my desk, previously with my Shure E3C earbuds and Bose on ear headphone. I want something new and decided to upgrade to Shure SE535, which is $499 at Amazon now, as I write this. Not cheap.
This is top-of-the-line from Shure, a brand which you may have heard of if you’re in the music industry or making music (or regularly buy or research up-market earbuds).

- Bend-and-shape-around-ear cable for comfort and good fit
- Swappable parts in case one part needs replacement
- Two choices for color: bronze or clear. I went with clear because I think it’s cool that you can see all the inner mechanics of it. The box picture is of the bronze ones.

- Come nicely wrapped in protective foam, which reminds me of memory foam.
- The clear model I got gives view of all the inner mechanics of it.
