Unboxing Motorola Atrix

Today, I am unboxingMotorola Atrix 4G on AT&T.  It runs on Android 2.2.  This phone has a dual core processor. It also has Motoblur.

The Motorola Atrix comes packed with a Sim Card for the LTE network, a USB to micro USB cable, surprisingly, a HDMI cable, and also some paperwork and the charger.

It really is unusual and surprising it comes with HDMI cable.  Other phones don’t have this great feature.

Looking at the phone, I like it.  It looks a lot like aniPhone 3G.  On the top of the phone there is a recessed power button and audio jack with the volume rocker on the upper right.  On the left side are the HDMI and micro USB ports. The back says lock/power  near the power button at the top and can open to reveal the huge battery, which is 1880 mAmp. This phone has back and front facing cameras.

Booting it up, the screen image does not look as vibrant to me as the Sprint Evo 4G but the phone seems really fast because the AT&T network popped up very fast.  The screen is very fluid in its response to finger swipes.  I test the browser a bit and feel that the network performance is pretty good, very fast.  The phone speaker is also pretty good.

All-in-all, this is a very nice phone.  The network is really impressive, very fast.  If you can get a 4G device, they are crazy fast.  The phone itself feels good and seems very functional.

Thanks,

Super Gadget Guy
