Quick Unboxing of Logitech G13 Gaming Controller

I got myself this little Logitech G13 Gaming Controller for Christmas.  This is a dedicated gaming controller pad that works with World of Warcraft.  Although I don’t play WOW, I do play first person shooters and it seems like a pretty neat controller.  I’ve been thinking that my keyboard is not optimal for gaming and so decided to try it.

The box says it works with windows and mac OS.  I’ll be using it with my windows gaming PC.  The box is designed nicely, as it is pretty easy to open in order to get the product out.  The Controller is nestled between a cardboard base and a plastic form-fitted top inside the box.

The Controller comes out of the package in one piece and fully assembled.  Looking at the controller, it has a metal plate on the back and is corded.  On the front, the LCD screen on top is very nice.  On the LCD screen panel are 4 rectangular buttons and two circular buttons, all unmarked except for the circular one farthest to the right which is the brightness button, as indicated by the sun icon.  Below the LCD panel are 4 buttons labeled M1, M2, M3, and MR.  The area designed for gameplay has 22 keys.  These keys are all numbered G1 through G22, and there is also a small joystick with two buttons where the left thumb falls.  The heel of my hand rests on a texturized rubber mat, and the product as a whole is quite comfortable.

A small amount of paperwork is included with the controller.  One pamphlet is an ad for Playseat, which looks like a pretty cool gaming chair, and distracts me from my new controller for a minute.

So that’s it. Just a quick unboxing of the Logitech G13 Gaming Controller.  Let me know if you have any questions.  I’m going to put it to use now.

Thanks!

Hi nice website. I just saw your revealing of the Sony nex 5n. Great job. Do you like the nex better then your canon? I’m in the market for a nice camera for family portraits and baby pics. What do you think?
