Have you been reading about NEC’s Japan release only LaVie Z Ultrabook?
If you’re soon to be in the market for a slim notebook computer, this computer looks like a gem and seems to weigh in like a feather at under 2.2 pounds. Yet, it can not be in the running for you unless you’re headed to Asia. NEC is keeping it in Japan.
Hopefully, they will bring LaVie Z to U.S. markets soon, perhaps by partnering up with distributors that have more of a presence here.
The 1600 x 900 pixel 13.3 LaVie Z Ultrabook contains Intel Ivy Bridge CPUs. On the outside, it is not an aluminum Apple clone, however it does look sleek and classy.
It is disappointing that such a quality notebook is not available in the U.S. market. Regrettably, as long as computers like this remain available outside the U.S. only, I’ll remain an Apple MacBook [amazon_link id="B005CWIGHU" target="_blank" container="" container_class="" ]Air[/amazon_link] and [amazon_link id="B005CWJ3MM" target="_blank" container="" container_class="" ]Pro[/amazon_link] user .
