First Boot: MacBook Pro with Retina Display

The MacBook Pro boots with the typical set up screen for Mac OS Lion.  Not a problem that it’s not Mountain Lion because next month, when mountain lion comes out, I’ll get a free copy.

I’m going to set it up then do a boot to see how fast it is.

The screen is really sharp.  So sharp, that its almost unrealistic.

The actual screen resolution is 2880 x 1800.  That is just insane. An insane number of pixels.

Remember, HDTV is only 1920 x 1080.  This blows that out of the water.

My 24″ desktop screen is only 1920 x 1200 pixels.

The restart is almost immediate.  So fast!

What do I think of [amazon_link id="B0074721BI" target="_blank" container="" container_class="" ]MacBook Pro with Retina display[/amazon_link]?

It’s amazing and beautiful: A very good screen with a very good display and the weight of the computer is so small.  Amazing.

The screen is very sharp.  Photos will look amazing on it.

I’ll use this and get back to you soon with a review.

Thanks,

Super Gadget Guy
